Requirements

The applicant is required to meet requirements specified below. The applicant is advised to contact the Faculty of Information Technology if not certain whether his/her qualification is eligible.

  1. The applicant must graduate from a high school/secondary school in Thailand or abroad and obtained (or expected to obtain prior to the start of Academic Year 2017) a qualification equivalent to M. 6 (or Matthayom 6)
  2. The applicant must have a GPA Of all mathematical subjects at the high school levels of more than 70% or 3.0 (for the A - F grading system) or achieve the minimum score of one of the following mathematical proficiency tests
    • SAT (Math section) or SAT Subject test (Math I or Math II)
    • ACT (Math section)
    • AP test for a mathematical subject
    • A-Level or AS-Level for a mathematical subject
    • O-Level or GCSE or IGCSE for a mathematical subject
    • IB-Diploma for a mathematical subject
    • NCEA (level 2 or Level 3) for a mathematical subject
    • Gaokao score of Mathematics
    • PAT 1 (for domestic applicants)
  3. The applicants must provide anyone of the following English proficiency tests:
    • TOEFL Paper Based or TOEFL Computer Based or TOEFL Internet Based
    • IELTS
    • Cambridge English Exams – FCE or CAE or CPE
    • Gaokao score of English Language
    • CU-TEP (for domestic applicants)
    • TU-GET (for domestic applicants)
    • GAT (Part 2) (for domestic applicants)
    • Or other English test results

    Or

    • Had studied abroad in a school that teaches in English at the high school level or its equivalent levels for more than 2 consecutive years (for oversee applicants)

    Or

    • Had studied in an international school that teaches in English at the high school level or its equivalent levels for more than 2 consecutive years (for domestic applicants)

Numbers of acceptances

The Faculty of Information Technology expects to accept 50 Thai students and 10 International students from this round of admission. However, the faculty may accept a lower or greater number of students depending on the number of qualified applicants.

About BIT

Overview

The Business Information Technology degree gives you foundation knowledge and skills relevant to IT as well as the skills you need for the practical application of IT to areas typically found in industry.

These include digital business, e-commerce, social media, information systems, and business data analytic.

The Business Information Technology degree incorporates much of the BSc Program in Information Technology course, but also includes business-oriented modules.
